Jennifer Haley's "Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom"
Artwork by Joe Loguirato
Riffing on horror genres with Rod Sterling-like mastery, Jennifer Haley brings us a truly frightening script about conformity, virtual reality and teenage rage in American society. Locked behind closed doors and drawn further into the maelstrom of an online zombie-killing game, suburban teens realize the game’s final level looks an awful lot like their own subdivision. The kids are definitely not alright. And the parents should be very worried.
